LIZ AND JOE'S ENGAGEMENT SESSION

· July 23, 2009 · Uncategorized, , , , ,

This past Sunday, I had a great time spending the afternoon with Liz and Joe having coffee, photographing and talking about their upcoming wedding. We went to some of my favorite spots in Washington DC and snapped some great shots. As I tell my wedding couples, having the engagement session is a great way for us to get to know each other and for them to get used to the camera. Special thanks to Moshe Zusman for helping me capture this awesome duo.

LIRON AND JUSTIN'S ROCKING WEDDING

Liron and Justin’s wedding this past Sunday is definitely making it to my favorite wedding list. Liron looked stunning in her fairytale dress and unique custom-made green running shoes. My camera fell in love with her infectious smile.  The party was rocking to the sound of “Full Effect” who showcased their extraordinary ability to perform an eclectic playlist of hits that kept the guests on the dance floor.

Da Vinci Florist beautifully decorated the Grand Lodge with flowers and lighting.

Special thanks to Moshe Zusman and Lena who helped me capture this beautiful wedding.

Cheers Liron & Justin. Have a blast on t your honeymoon,

 Hadar.

Lesley and Ali’s destination wedding

· May 18, 2009 · Uncategorized, , , , , , , ,

I am still recovering from this past weekend’s wedding in Puerto Rico, where Moshe and I photographed Lesley and Ali’s gorgeous beach ceremony. Shortly after arriving to the luxurious Rio Mar Beach Resort, we started our casual session right in the ocean. The next day, we drove to Old San Juan for the pre ceremony portraits. I am so fortunate to work with all these outgoing couples and share their special day.

Here are a few out of many beautiful images. . .

Liron and Justin

Spending the afternoon with Liron and Justin was amazing. They love being in front of the camera and the camera loves them. After sipping coffee and learning about these two love bird, we went off to shoot some great images that I absolutely love. As a bonus to having such a great couple to work with, I had the pleasure to work with a very talented photographer. Lena Smurova is a local photographer who specialized in artistic portraiture. I am proud to have her as my new associate. I will post some more about Lena very soon. Well, back to Liron and Justin. Here are few of my favorite images from yesterday . . .

Working with Moshe and Muriel at Kim and Matthew’s wedding this past Saturday was so much fun. The ceremony and reception took place at nightclub called The Park in Washington DC and which made this fun wedding feel like a celebrity’s party. Before the wedding we went to the Jefferson Monument for some timeless portraits. Here are a few for you to enjoy . . .

Baby shoot at The Liaison Capitol Hill

· April 16, 2009 · Uncategorized, , , , ,

As promised, here a few images from a shoot that I did with Moshe Zusman not so long ago. The Liaison Capitol Hill had the event Baby Food for the Soul with Chef Art Smith who is teaching parents how to cook healthy organic food for their little ones. The images were used for promotional material and marketing for the event and were a great hit. I got to say that working with children is always a blast . . .

Sorry?!

· April 15, 2009 · Hadar Goren, Uncategorized, wedding, ,

I know, I have been neglecting the blog. Well, I have a great excuse! The past couple of months were extremely busy. Working on past client’s albums, weddings and all sorts of assignments kept me away from writing to you. Add to that the “what was I thinking” project of transforming my back yard to an oasis and you get a one busy man. Well, hopefully we will be able to use this out of control project as an outdoor studio. In the meantime, here are a few images from the past months.

And yes………….I’m sorry,

Hadar.

Retrospective of 2008

· January 21, 2009 · Uncategorized, , , ,

As we enter the freezing season, I have some time to reflect on all the great people that I got to work with in 2008. It has been a terrific year and I hope that 2009 will be just as good. I have put together some images for a 6 minute slideshow (with music) that I hope you will enjoy.

Cheers to the New Year!

Heather and Matt

· November 17, 2008 · Uncategorized, , , ,

Wow what a fun day! I just got back from photographing Heather and Matt on the Potomac River for their unique engagement session. It was great getting to know them and taking some beautiful images. We decided to have a camping theme to the session and not do the whole “engagement” thing. We had a blast listening to Matt play the guitar, roasting hotdogs and just goofing off. This two ROCK! Also, many thanks to Moshe Zusman who was photographing with me.

Jenny and Aaron

· October 29, 2008 · Uncategorized, , , , ,

It was a pleasure working with the Fang family again and photographing Jenny Tan and Aaron Fang’s wedding. Jenny looked gorgeous in her western wedding gown and the Chinese dress and could not hide her excitement to save her life. Aaron, you’re a lucky man! The Ceremony and reception both took place in the Freemason’s Grand Lodge in Cockeysville MD which made for a very unique location. Congrats Fangs, have a great time in Rivera Maya.

Here are a few shout-outs to some of the pros who made this day so smooth, beautiful and delicious.
